  • WHS serves affordable breakfasts and lunches on school days in the cafeteria.
  • There are 3 lunch periods, known as A, B, or C lunch.
  • Your 4th hour class determines when you will eat lunch. Lunch schedules are posted throughout the building on the 1st day of each trimester.

Lunch Schedule (for regular bell schedule)

  • A Lunch 11:35 a.m. 12:03 p.m.   Class: 12:08 – 1:07 PM
  • B Lunch 12:07 12:35 p.m.   Class: 11:37 a.m. – 12:05 p.m. & 12:40–1:07 p.m.
  • C Lunch 12:39 1:07 p.m.    Class: 11:37 a.m. – 12:37 p.m.

Lunch Lines

There are several lunch lines at WHS. Menus change monthly and are created by Nutrition Services.

International Crossing offers hot lunch entrees, vegetables and/or fruit, bread, and milk. Menus vary daily and feature Italian, Mexican Asian food, and regional foods from the U.S.

Market Square features a variety of school favorites and comfort food.
 

Downtown Deli features entrée salads, soups, and sandwiches.

 

Express Way features hot foods such as corn dogs, chicken/fish sandwiches, hamburgers & cheeseburgers, chicken strips or popcorn chicken, along with salads and fruits/vegetables.
 

NOTE: Students qualify for school lunch prices when they take 3 of 5 menu items; otherwise, a la carte pricing applies. Contact Nutrition Services with questions.

Meal Accounts

  • Every student has a meal account and Personal Identification Number (PIN).
  • Students who purchase a meal at WHS must have money in their meal account.
  • Students must remember their PIN to pay for meals purchased at school.
  • All food checkout lanes at WHS are cashless; cashless checkout provides faster service.
  • Lunch prices are located on the Nutrition Services website.

Pay by Credit Card (SchoolCafé)

  • District 833 Nutrition Services has switched from PayPAMS to SchoolCafé for online lunch payments. Parents cannot use PayPAMS to view balances or deposit funds into their child’s lunch account. Any account balances shown in PayPAMS are automatically transfer to SchoolCafé once an account is created and students are added to the account.
  • To create an account:
    • Go to SchoolCafe.com and select register
    • Enter in “South Washington County Schools” for the district
    • Enter basic contact information
    • Choose a username and password
    • Accept the terms and conditions
  • Add student(s) to your SchoolCafé account using their student ID number, which can be found on Parent Portal.
    SchoolCafé allows for more options for parents, and is very user-friendly.
  • SchoolCafé allows you to set email low balance reminders, schedule automatic payments, review student purchases online and apply for free and reduced meal benefits.
  • SchoolCafé also has a free mobile app available for use on any smart device.
  • Free and reduced meal benefit applications must be completed through a web browser.

Pay by Check

  • Your student may give a check for meal account deposit to his/her first hour teacher.
  • Checks are payable to ISD 833 N.S.

Senior Lunch Privileges

  • Seniors may eat at the lunch tables outside of the South Entrance.
  • Students must toss any trash before re-entering the building.
  • Only seniors may leave campus during their lunch period. All seniors must show their student ID to leave the building for lunch. If you don’t have your student ID when asked by school staff, you will not be allowed to leave the building. If you do not have your student ID, please stop in the Attendance Office.
