Counseling

  • As summer is approaching don’t forget to look at summer opportunities on Naviance. You will find them under the College tab then under Enrichment Programs. You should log on to Naviance through the Counseling/Career page on the WHS website. If you are having trouble logging in to Naviance, please stop in the Counseling Office.
  • Don’t forget to be looking at Scholarship opportunities on Naviance. You will find them under the College Tab dropdown then under Scholarships and Money. You can also come in the Counseling/Career Office on Wednesdays during ROAR time and a Counselor will be here to help.
  • The ASVAB (Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery) Test will be given at Woodbury High School on February 26 at 8:30 am in room 127.  The test will take place during periods one through three and is open to students in grades 10-12. There is no cost to take this test. Please stop by the Counseling Office to register.  For more information on the ASVAB you can log on to www.asvabprogram.com.

All School Information

  • All lost & found items will be donated after today, January 18. If you are looking for any lost items, please head down to the main entrance near the greeter desk to take a look.
  • Students who do not have a math class need to pick up their registration material in the counseling office.
  • Coffee House auditions are this week!  Sign up on the NHS board in the cafeteria overflow.  All talent is welcome!
  • Woodbury High School is hosting its first ever TEDx event this spring!!  If you would like to be a speaker or join the TEDx team, check your school email for more details!  Due date is Monday, January 21st.
  • We have a limited amount of senior panoramic photos available for purchase. Please see Ms. Fick in the Attendance Office if you wish to purchase one. They are $16. Make sure to get one before they are gone!
  • Attention Seniors! Don’t miss out on the Senior All Night Party on June 2nd, 2019.“Catch a Wave” and get your ticket before the price goes up!  Tickets are $60 but only through January.  Starting February 1st, the ticket price will increase to $75.  Tickets are on sale during all lunch hours on Tuesdays & Fridays and are also available at whsseniorparty.com.
  • Tonight at the boys basketball game Key Club will be hosting a raffle in support of the Thirst Project, a charity that builds wells in Swaziland. 1 ticket is $2 and 3 are $5. The money will be split 50/50 between the winner and Key Club. Bring your $$ and spread the word!!

Club Information

  • Club photos will be on Thursday, Jan. 24 periods 1, 2 and 3. Your club will be announced via the PA system. Pictures will be taken in the competition gym.
  • Color Me Beautiful is back!! Ladies tell all your friends to meet Ms. Alston and Mrs. Patterson on Wednesday, January 23 in the lecture hall during A,B, and C lunches for the girls group! You do not want to miss out—See you there!
  • Prom Committee will meet Tuesday, January 22 at 8:00 in room 128.  Anyone interested in helping out with prom this year is welcomed.
