  • Pass/No Credit forms are due today in the Counseling Office.


  • Our first conferences of the year will be held tomorrow  from 3:45-7:30 p.m. Most conferences will be held on the Activity Center track, and some will be held in the Media Center. Because of Conferences the Activity Center and Media Center will be closed after school tomorrow.
  • This is a reminder for those interested in going to Greece this summer that there is an informational meeting after school today in room 266 with Ms. Von Ruden-Forshier.
  • Attention Ladies,
    We will have the Color Me Beautiful lunch gathering with Mrs. Patterson on Wednesday, October 18 during 4th hour in the lecture hall. So grab your lunch and invite a friend—you don’t want to miss out!! Please sign up on Mrs. Patterson’s school website or in the counseling office to attend.  
  • Freshmen, don’t forget to turn in your application for Stud Co to Ms. Radanke by Wednesday
  • 9th grade girls and  boys interested in serving as representatives on our district Youth Advisory Council should turn in their application forms to Ms. Burch in the Principal’s Office by Wednesday.
  • ACT prep coaches from College Tutors will offer ACT Testing Tips during Roar Time this Wednesday, October 18 in the Lecture Hall. This is a great opportunity for all juniors who will be taking the ACT test next week! Please arrive at the Lecture Hall promptly.
  • Woodbury High School will be providing a special opportunity for all students Wednesday, October 25. Your parents should have received an email  regarding this important date!

    On October 25, students in grades 9-11 will report to their advisor at the beginning of the day. Your advisory most likely will NOT be held in your usual room. Room assignments for October 25 will be posted by advisor in the hallways starting Monday, October 23. Please check this room assignment list before testing day on the 25th!  
  • Grade 9 students will participate in a presentation before lunch and a Character Challenge retreat in the afternoon.
  • Grade 10 students will take the PreACT test.   
  • Grade 11 students will take an ACT practice test.  
    • The PreACT and the Practice ACT tests will give sophomores and juniors an opportunity to practice a timed test and they will predict your performance on the ACT test that all juniors take in spring.
      Students in grades 10-11, following testing, will be in their advisories.
      Students in grades 10 & 11 should remember to bring their #2 pencil and a calculator!   
      Students 9-12 will NOT be allowed to go to their locker after 8:35 a.m. until the end of the day.  Make sure all you need is with you, including your lunch, pencil, and calculator.  
  • Grade 12 students may use this day to visit colleges, prepare application materials for post secondary options, or research schools of their choice.  Any senior who would prefer to be in school will be enrolled in a monitored study hall.

  • This is a reminder that Anime Club is meeting today in room 263 after school.
  • World Language Club members scavenger hunt competition is today. Meet at the ASL room right after school.
  • All Royal Connectors, attend the meeting tomorrow morning at 7:50 a.m. in the Lecture Hall. New Royal Connectors,  remember that the deadline for turning in applications is Wednesday. See Ms. Amaral in room 111.

Activities & Athletic Highlights

  • All girls interested in being on the hockey team should attend a player/parent meeting tonight in the overflow cafe from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
