Royal Opportunities Night

Updated 12/15/16

January 9, 2017 from 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Woodbury High School would like to invite you to “Royal Opportunities Night” held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017. The 2017-18 school year may seem a long way off, but registration happens soon after students return from Winter Break in January. We want to show you and your student the many opportunities available at Woodbury High School. The evening is designed to give you a chance to examine courses and activities offered for your student. Royal Opportunities Night will also allow parents and students a chance to ask more in-depth questions about the classes students would like to include in their schedules. All academic departments will be represented and will be ready to answer questions about their required and elective courses. In the Activities Center we will have student representatives ready to answer questions about our many clubs and student organizations.

In addition, there will be several break-out informational sessions for parents & students.

  • WHS Counselors will discuss the 2017-18 school year concerning course offering and current credit requirements.
  • A Student Panel will discuss taking/managing rigorous courses. Please plan to attend with your student if they are considering multiple advanced classes for the 2017-18 school year.
  • Spanish Immersion Pathway presentation

Student volunteers will also be available to assist in tours of the building and answer questions from a current WHS student’s perspective. We are hopeful that the information you receive will aid you in your student’s registration decisions.
