The school district recognizes that students and employees have the right to express themselves on school property.  This protection includes distributing nonschool-sponsored material, subject to school district regulations and procedures, at a reasonable time and place and in a reasonable manner. Any person desiring to distribute literature to students in school or on school property must receive prior approval from the principal. The principal may permit the distribution of pamphlets or other printed material as long as such distribution is related to school curriculum or the health and welfare of the students and as long as it would not result in the disruption of the educational process or be a violation of any federal, state or municipal law.
