Submission Dates:

You can start submitting senior portraits at any time. Senior photos will be due January 12, 2024.

Important photo information:

• You must submit a portrait/vertical image
• No props allowed (athletic equipment, instruments, etc.)
• No SnapChat filters Senior portraits must be school appropriate
• The yearbook staff reserves the right to crop any submitted picture to meet these expectations.

What are baby photos ads? 

• Baby photo ads are printed messages from loved ones to seniors celebrating their graduation. Baby photo ads are published in the yearbook. They include a personalized short message (250 characters/spaces or less), and a baby photo. 
• If you would like to gift your senior with a baby photo ad, you must both submit and purchase the photo ad for $30.00. We accept content, baby photos and payment through online submission only.
• How do I submit and purchase my student's baby photo ad? Visit www.woodburyyearbook.com to submit and purchase your student's baby photo ad.

Senior ID Cards (2023-24)

• Senior ID cards are made using your junior picture. Seniors can pick up their student ID card in the Attendance Office
• If you are new to WHS, you must have your picture taken.
  • Picture Retake Day (September 27, 2023 and October 25, 2023)
  • If you miss picture retake day, you can also have a student ID generated from the Attendance Office

• Anyone requiring Handicap Seating or sign language interpreting for graduation events should contact Lynne Blass (651.425.4407) to make arrangements. 

• Monday, June 3, 2024 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm Main Gym and Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 10:00am - 12:00 pm Main Gym
• Graduation Fee: $30
• Honors Sash Fee (if applicable): $25.00 
• NOTE: Seniors must return Chromebook & charger, all books & pay all fines prior to receiving their caps and gowns!

• The district pays for caps and gowns. Seniors pay $30.00 towards graduation for security, flowers, programs, medals, etc. 

PAY FEE ONLINE:  The graduation fee can be paid online using SmartSchoolK!2 starting in May or the fee is due when you pick-up your cap and gown. Contact Ms. Burch (651.425.4409) with questions. The graduation cap & gown are yours to keep.

• Honor Sashes: Honor sashes will be provided for all honor students with a deposit of $25.00. If you qualify for an honor sash, please bring cash or a check made out to WHS on the day of Cap & Gown Distribution.

• Your honor sash must be returned by Tuesday, June 11 to the Principal's Office for your deposit to be returned.

Commencement Ceremony Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Aldrich arena

• Each senior receives 7 tickets that are provided during cap and gown distribution
• The ceremony will be live-streamed on SoWashCo's youtube page for graduations or by following this link here: https://youtube.com/live/yb90YEQH39w?feature=share

Commencement attendees are asked to REMAIN SEATED during the ceremony. You may take photographs from your seat while sitting, and before or after the ceremony. 

Each graduate will be photographed at the ceremony.

YARD SIGNS: Signs for the Class of 2024 are available to order through image360.com. Please use this LINK to order either a general or personalized yard sign for your graduate.

BANNERS: Banners can be designed and ordered through online or local vendors, such as:

The Senior All Night Party is an independent event that is planned and run by the parents of WHS students. Staff from Woodbury High School are not responsible for this event.

Attention all Senior and Junior Parents: Monthly meetings happen throughout the school year for committee members to plan the party.  This party is designed to give the graduating class a chance to celebrate with classmates one final time at the high school. To make this a great event we need a lot of volunteers doing large and small tasks. If you are a parent of a junior or senior student, both moms and dads, we need as many of you as possible to volunteer in the planning and implementing of this party.

Senior All Night Party 2024: Our planning meetings are Mondays at 6:30 p.m. in the WHS Cafeteria Commons. There are several subcommittees. Contact whsseniorpartymn@gmail.com for details or to sign up for a subcommittee from the list below:

Senior Awards Program (Monday, May 20, 2024 @ 6:00 p.m.)
Woodbury High School Auditorium

We honor seniors for their accomplishments at Woodbury High School and showcase their post-high school plans. Students who will attend are asked to provide information about their post secondary plans, including college, vocational school, or military service. This event includes a senior slide show, which will be presented by senior class representatives. Students receiving awards will be notified by mail.

Once you gradation, in August graduated seniors will no longer have access to their school provided Googles Apps account. Make sure you download/copy the files you want to keep onto another device not owned by the District. After August, there will be no means of retrieving them. Follow the steps below:

1. Using the device you want to download them to, log onto your Google Drive.
2. Click on the file you want to save and download. (To download multiple files, press Shift or Control ("Command" on a Mac) while clicking other files.)
3. Right-click and select Download.

Note: Dragging a file from Google Drive to your desktop will NOT download it. Be sure to follow the steps above. 

Senior Lunch Privileges

Seniors are allowed to leave campus during their lunch period. Seniors must show their student ID to leave the building for lunch. If you don't have your student ID when asked by security, you will not be allowed to leave the building. If you have not picked up your ID, please stop in the Attendance Office.

Parents must review their senior's meal account balance to determine what to do with any funds that remain in their student's account after graduation. Be sure to remove any automatic payments made to your student's account. More information can be found here.

Senior Service Day

• This is an official school day. All seniors will meet in the Auditorium at 8:30 to receive directions. 
• Attendance will be taken at volunteer sites.
• Students volunteer from 9:00-12:00 noon.
• Sites will be posted in the halls prior to sign up.
• Sign-ups will be available through SignUpGenius.com. The link will be provided to all students through Schoology.

Senior PicnicThe Senior Picnic will take place following volunteer work from 1:00-3:00 at Ojibway Park.  The picnic is free to all seniors to attend.

The Senior Panoramic Photo is taken each fall for the graduating class. Information to purchase the picture will be provided through school announcements. The picture is included in the yearbook and is displayed in the cafeteria hallway.
