Counseling

  • Seniors – If you know what your future plans will be after graduation, please stop down in the Counseling Office and sign our Future Plans Sheet.

All School Information

  • The 11th graders will be taking the MCA Math test next week in the media center, Monday - Wednesday.  The media center will be closed before school and throughout the school day, Monday - Wednesday. If you need a computer or to print, please go to the Counseling office.
  • Yearbook sales for the year will end April 19.  Check the poster in the cafeteria to see if you have ordered a yearbook.  If your name is not on the poster, pick up a order form in the media center or go to the WHS website and click on the yearbook icon.
  • Today is a Day of Silence to bring awareness to the silencing effects of anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying and harassment in schools.  The Day of Silence is a student-led national event organized in thousands of schools across the nation. Wear your rainbow sticker proudly to support LGBTQ students!   If you didn't get a sticker, stop by the counseling office.
  • Murder! Mystery! Come join the Royal Theater on Thursday May 2nd, Friday the 3rd, and Saturday the 4th at 7:00 p.m., when a group of travelers on an expedition encounter murder! Every character is a suspect, and relationships may not be what they seem.  Thursday May 2nd students get in for free. Otherwise tickets are $4 and $6 for adults.
  • Attention Seniors You Don’t Want to Miss This!  Celebrate graduation with all your friends at The Senior All Night Party on June 2nd. It’s time to “Catch a Wave” and get your ticket today!  The party is filled with refreshments galore, live entertainment , volleyball tourney, games, awesome prizes and more! Tickets are $75 and are on sale during all lunch hours on Tuesdays, daily in the attendance office Or online at whsseniorparty.com.   
  • Attention all Seniors:  We are now taking nominations for graduation speakers.  We will be electing one male and one female to represent the Class of 2019 as our speakers.  If you are interested in being selected for this role, please see Mr. Nunn in room 263 by end of April.
  • The last day to purchase a Prom Ticket will be on Friday, April 12 by 1:00 PM on Feepay.

  • Congratulations to Woodbury's own, Sayuj Suresh,  for publishing his science research in a national journal !   Covalently entrapping catalase into calcium alginate worm pieces using EDC carbo-di-imde as a cross linker,  can be found in the  18 March 2019 edition of the Journal of Emerging Investigations.
