  • If you are planning to take a course pass/no credit the deadline is Tuesday, April 30th.  Forms can be picked up in the Counseling Office.

All School Information

  • Senior Meeting
    • There will be a meeting for all seniors on Wednesday, May 1 during 1st period.  Please report to your 1st period class for attendance before you are released via the intercom.  The meeting will cover graduation, voting for graduation speakers, nomination of honor staff, senior service sign up instructions, ordering senior t-shirts, etc.  The meeting is expected to take all period. You’ll need something to write with for the meeting.


    • Students who are interested in speaking at graduation need to submit their name to Mr. Nunn by the end of the day on Tuesday, April 30.  You will need to be prepared to give a short introduction during the meeting about your potential topic and reason why you are interested.   If you have 1st period Senior Study, please be sure to arrive early so you can attend the meeting. PSEO students who are unable to attend, can pick up paperwork in the Attendance Office or contact Mr. Nunn.


    • If you have questions, please connect with Mr. Nunn or one of your senior class representatives: Sara Dahlager, Jaycee Goosen, or Hailey Lambert.

  • SENIORS here is some important Graduation information:
    • Cap and Gown distribution will be on Wednesday, May 29th during school hours. The district pays for caps and gowns, but students pay a $30 graduation fee for Aldrich Arena’s rental fee, flowers, programs, etc. NEW THIS YEAR: The graduation fee can be paid online using FeePay starting today and running through May 27. The link is on the WHS website. If you have not paid ahead of time, you can pay by cash or check on May 29th, Cap and Gown pickup day. The cap and gown is yours to keep.


    • Honor Sashes will be provided for all honor students with a deposit of $25.00 (cash or check) due on cap and gown distribution day. If you are receiving an honor sash you will be contacted separately by email. Sashes need to be returned by Friday, June 7 to have your deposit returned. 


    • All Library books and textbooks must be returned or the replacement cost paid, on or before Friday, May 24.


  • The League of Women Voters will be here at lunch time April 25th providing voter registration assistance for eligible students. If you will be 18 by Nov 5th, all you need is one form of ID-  a learner's permit, a driver's license, a Minnesota ID, or the last 4 digits of your social security number.
  • Señora Chapman is starting the planning for Peru 2021 now!  There is an informational meeting for parents at 6:15 in room 215 after conferences tonight (Thursday). If you are interested, but can't make it, please swing by soon!

Club Information

  • Calling all current sophomores and juniors who are enthusiastic, friendly, willing to take risks, who are ready to build their leadership skills and exemplify all that WHS is- Link Crew is the place for you!  The Link Crew Program has undergone a huge renovation and we are excited to have you board as we pilot many new activities for freshmen orientation this upcoming year. Please see Mrs. Bock (room 161) or Mr. Waugh (room 107) for applications which are due by 3:15 pm on Friday, May 3rd.  Thanks for being active and a major part of the incoming freshmen’s first experience here at WHS.
  • New member Student Council applications are due Friday April 26th in room 112 no later than 3:30 pm.  Late applications will not be accepted.  If you still need an application they are online and a few copies are in Mrs. Meixner’s room 112.
