WHS is hosting College Planning Saturday with Minnesota Colleges. This FREE event brings together representatives from the University of Minnesota System, Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (MNSCU), and the Minnesota Private College Council (MPCC) to present information about their institutions.

Navigating the College Search Process

This presentation covers the timeline, strategies, questions to ask and other considerations for students and families as you begin the process of selecting a college.

Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO)

You will hear about the PSEO process for WHS students. You will also learn the application process at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and Century College. These schools are the top two schools that our students attend as PSEO students.

Paying for College

This presentation explores college costs, the value of college education, and how families pay for college. You will learn how to estimate the cost of attending the college of your choice. We will also discuss types and sources of financial aid, with a special focus on completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Minnesota State Colleges & University System (MNSCU): Four year and Two year Schools

This presentation will discuss access to the Minnesota State System. Information will be provided about the application process, NCAA Division ll process, and residential life programs. There are SEVEN great Minnesota State Universities to help your students reach their potential. The application process, programs that are offered and affordability will also be addressed from a two year college perspective.
