We are excited to celebrate the Class of 2020 on Saturday, June 13! Please see below for directions of how to participate in both the processional and virtual graduation ceremony.

Graduation Processional, 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, June 13
Seniors and their families are invited to participate in a drive-thru Graduation Processional on the Woodbury High School campus before our virtual graduation program begins streaming later that evening. To manage the number of vehicles and ensure the safety of all, students are scheduled by last name for a specific time.

1:00-1:30 A-C

1:30-2:00 D-H

2:00-2:30 I-L

2:30-3:00 M-P

3:00-3:30 Q-S

3:30-4:00 T-Z

We ask that a family member drives the vehicle, if possible, so the graduating senior can concentrate on the celebration. Families are encouraged to post a sign on the vehicle that names the senior who is graduating. Students should sit in the passenger side of the vehicle wearing their cap and gown. When the processional reaches the front parking lot, students will have the choice to exit their vehicle to take a photograph on a small stage constructed outside. Please note, only the student will be permitted to exit their vehicle. All family members must remain in the car. If the student prefers, they may remain in their vehicle and have a photo taken from inside the car displaying their diploma for a graduation photo as they proceed through the front parking lot.

All photographs will be available for families to order and/or download at a later date.

Students are also asked to bring a notecard or small piece of paper with their name written on it. As students approach the stage, their name will be read by one of our assistant principals to celebrate their graduation.

Please note, this activity is optional for students and families. People with COVID-19 symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc.) should not attend. We also ask that students and families participating, travel through the processional route and exit campus immediately. No one is allowed to gather in small groups and all parking lots will be closed. The processional ensures that we are following MDE and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) guidelines.

For families who do not have a vehicle and wish to participate, please call 651-425-4407.
